Financial Report
I mentioned as of today we had several people donate to us and we truly appreciate these individuals doing this.
We had a fundraiser / information session in Charlottetown on November 18th, 2018 with a tournament that followed. We raised $176.00 and had to pay the rental of the hall in the amount of $100.00 With having 50/50, Donations, Sandwich & hot dog sales and Sweetheart tournament on February 17th, 2019 we raised $275.00
On February 15th we paid the Affiliations Fee to the National Dart Federation of Canada, in the amount of $400.00
As of November 2018 till March 2019 we raised $960.00. This was deposited into our bank account on May 1st. Minus $5.00 as the bank requires this one time fees. Grand total deposited was $985.00
April 7th we had a mixed double tournament at the Summerside Legion. We raised a total of $444.00. This consist of Hot dog sales, wobble board, 2 50/50 draws, donations back to us. This tournament was a GREAT day and everyone had a wonderful time.
I'm happy to say as of May 17th we have a grand total of $1429.00 in our bank account.
On May 25th we receive a cheque from Summerside Chrysler Dodge in the amount of $2400.00. This was greatly appreciate. This was donated specifically for the purchase of dart boards.
Keep in mind we still have legal bills that need to be paid. I did write a cheque in the amount of $578.61 to Cox & Palmer for 1 bill. The other legal bill is $1399.61. Another cheque was written in the amount of $500.00 towards this bill. Stephen and I both signed off on these cheques.
We also started Chase the Ace with the Summerside Legion. Tickets are $5.00 each, 3 for $10.00 or 7 for $20.00. These can be purchased from the bar during their hours of business. Several evenings through out the week, myself or someone else from the board will be selling tickets at each door of the legion to the public.
Starting June 1st and onward I will be doing a monthly spread sheet giving the totals of money that we made each month.This will be available for everyone to receive a copy if they request it. I can email them or supply a hard copy. The ledger book is also available for everyone to see. Just let me know and I will be happy to show anyone.
